Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in New Britain, CT. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification, BLS, and state licensing as applicable. The position involves 40-hour weeks with night shifts on a 13-week duration, and travel staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year of CT experience.
• Must have BLS, ARRT (CT) certification and CT licensing when required.
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods and handle patient care in CT scanning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort.
• Position patients for CT imaging of specified areas.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents when required.
• Maintain and review patient records and imaging orders.
• Adhere to safety procedures for radiation and follow clinicians’ instructions.
