Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a CT Technologist for a 26-week travel assignment in Naperville, IL. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, BLS, ARRT CT certification, and state licensure where required.

Expect 40 hours per week, 10-hour night shifts, with travel pay and a tax-free stipend to be determined. As a CT Tech you will operate CT equipment, obtain diagnostic-quality images, administer contrast, and ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year of CT experience.
• BLS and ARRT (CT) certification with registration.
• State licensure when required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests; explain procedures and provide reassurance.
• Correctly interpret doctors' instructions and position patients for CT scans.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility.
• Evaluate scans for technical quality; ensure safety procedures with radiation.
• Maintain accurate patient records; use McKesson PACS system.
