Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Springfield, Illinois. The position covers 36 hours per week on a night shift (12-hour shifts) within a travel engagement, with a tax-free stipend possibly to be determined.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of CT experience, BLS, ARRT CT certification with active registration, and any required state licensing. Responsibilities include patient positioning, imaging, PACS usage, contrast administration, and strict adherence

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of CT experience
• BLS, ARRT (CT) certification with registration and state licensing as required

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients
• Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
• Use CT equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
• Follow radiation safety procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the PACS system
