TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate has 1 year of CT experience, ARRT (CT) certification, and BLS, with state licensing if required.

The role involves performing CT imaging, maintaining patient records, and adhering to safety protocols. The position offers travel benefits and a tax-free stipend determined by assignment specifics.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• AR RT (CT) certification and BLS required.
• State-specific licensing may be required where applicable.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures.
• Interpret doctors' instructions accurately.
• Position patients for scans of specified body areas.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Utilize McKesson PACS system.
