Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Penn Wynne, PA. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification, BLS, and ARRT (R), with state licensing as applicable.

The assignment runs 13 weeks with 40 hours per week and nights on a 10-hour shift. Responsibilities include performing CT imaging, preparing patients, administering contrast as needed, and ensuring high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of CT experience.
• Current ARRT CT certification with registration.
• BLS certification; state licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain procedures to patients.
• Interpret doctors' instructions for imaging.
• Position patients for CT scans and capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed for imaging.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure accuracy for physician review.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and maintain records.
• Utilize McKesson PACS for image management.
