Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Philadelphia, PA. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification, BLS, and state licensing where applicable.

The position offers a 13-week duration with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift. Responsibilities include performing CT scans, preparing patients, and ensuring high-quality imaging while following radiation safety practices.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of CT imaging experience.
• BLS and ARRT CT certification with registration are required.
• State-specific licensing may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and review imaging requests; explain procedures to patients and provide reassurance.
• Interpret doctors' instructions accurately and position patients for CT scans.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal structures.
• Administer radiocontrast agents when indicated to enhance image quality.
• Evaluate scans for technical adequacy and quality.
• Maintain patient records accurately and adhere to radiation safety protocols.
• Familiar with McKesson PACS system and associated workflows.
