Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Springfield, Illinois. The CT Tech will perform imaging studies, position patients, and manage contrast administration while ensuring safety and quality.

Minimum 1 year of CT experience, BLS, ARRT (CT), and state licensing as required are required. The role requires strong knowledge of anatomy and PACS, with the ability to communicate procedures clearly to patients and collaborating staff.

Qualifications

• 1 year CT experience is required.
• BLS certification and ARRT CT certification are required.
• State licensing may be required depending on the state.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests.
• Position patients to scan specific areas.
• Use CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Evaluate CT scans for image quality.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
