Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Big Sky, Montana. The candidate will perform MRI, CT and X-ray exams, maintaining high-quality imaging and timely reporting for interpretation by licensed practitioners.

The role requires Montana licensure, ARRT CT/MRI, CAHEA radiology education, BLS, and at least two years of radiology experience including CT/MRI. Travel status with a 36-hour work week and day shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent with competencies in Radiology, CT and MRI.
• Montana licensure as Radiologic Technologist is required.
• ARRT advanced in CT and MRI is required.
• BLS certification.
• Two years radiology experience, including CT or MRI.
• Two years CT and/or MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI, CT and X-ray exams across patient populations.
• Operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Assist medical staff during exams and procedures as appropriate.
• Complete documentation for interpretation, archiving and retrieval of exams.
• Retrieve orders and health information to ensure timely performance and reporting.

Radiology Technologist Multi-Modality (MRI/CT/X-Ray)

Position Summary:

The Multi-Modality Radiology Technologist delivers high-quality MRI, CT, and X-Ray exams to assist in diagnosis or treatment. The technologist independently performs MRI, CT, and X-Ray procedures, producing images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent, with documented competencies in Radiology, CT, and MRI.
• Montana Licensure (Radiologic Technologist).
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) advanced certification in both CT and MRI.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Two (2) years of previous radiology experience.
• Two (2) years of previous CT and/or MRI experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor degree in health care related studies.

Essential Job Functions:

• Performs quality MRI, CT, and X-Ray/fluoroscopic exams and procedures for all patient populations, including NICU, CCU, & ED, as requested by medical staff.
• Operates independently with minimal supervision, maintaining high attention to detail and customer needs.
• Assists medical staff in other departments during exams and procedures as appropriate.
• Performs ancillary duties necessary for the proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures.
• Completes documentation required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
• Retrieves written orders and related health information to ensure timely performance and reporting of exams.
• Participates in the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of hospital quality indicators.
• Supports and trains peers as necessary.

Schedule Requirements:

This role requires regular and sustained attendance, with the possibility of working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends. Holiday coverage may be expected based on the rotation schedule.
