Position Summary

The Multi-Modality Radiology Technologist is responsible for delivering high-quality MRI, CT, and X-Ray exams to assist in diagnosis or treatment. This role involves independently performing imaging procedures and producing diagnostic images at the request of licensed practitioners.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent.
• Documented competencies in Radiology, CT, and MRI.
• Montana Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) advanced certification in both CT and MRI.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Two (2) years of previous radiology experience.
• Two (2) years of previous CT and/or MRI experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor degree in health care related studies.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform quality MRI, CT, and X-Ray/fluoroscopic exams and procedures for all patient populations, including NICU, CCU, and ED as requested by medical staff.
• Operate independently with limited supervision while maintaining high attention to detail and customer needs.
• Assist medical staff in other departments during exams and procedures as appropriate.
• Complete ancillary duties related to distribution, billing, and archival of exams/procedures.
• Document all required information for interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
• Retrieve written orders and related health information to ensure timely reporting of exams and procedures.
• Participate in the implementation and monitoring of hospital quality indicators as outlined in the strategic plan.
• Support and train peers as needed.

Schedule Requirements
