Job summary

FlexStaff seeks a Radiologic Technologist to prepare patients for imaging, explain procedures, and obtain consent when needed. The role includes performing x-ray exams, adjusting exposure, and positioning patients according to SOPs.

The technologist will monitor patient status, report concerns to the Radiologist, and ensure proper labeling and record-keeping. Licensure and ARRT certification are required, with at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• May require ARRT registration and state licensure.
• Minimum of one year experience performing radiologic exams.
• Strong ability to position patients and operate radiographic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exam and explains procedures in lay terms.
• Performs x-ray exams per standards and SOPs.
• Positions patient and adjusts immobilization devices for imaging.
• Operates x-ray equipment and adjusts exposure settings.
• Monitors patient condition and reports concerns to Radiologist.
• Enters exam data, marks images as left/right, and logs exams.
• Maintains image quality and proper labeling for records.
