Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• New York State and/or Connecticut licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT registration required.
• Minimum of one year experience performing radiologic exams.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exam and relieves anxiety; ensures consent if necessary.
• Performs radiographic exams according to standards and SOPs.
• Positions patient and adjusts immobilization and supportive devices.
• Operates x-ray equipment to obtain correct exposure.
• Monitors patient condition and reports issues to Radiologist.
• Keys in patient history and exam data; logs exams daily.
• Performs related duties as required.
