Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Greenwich, CT. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT (CT) certification with current registration, and BLS.

The assignment runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week across 13-hour day shifts. Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, prepping patients, and ensuring high-quality images for interpretation, while adhering to safety protocols and using McKesson PACS.

Qualifications

• 1 year CT experience
• ARRT (CT) certification with registration
• BLS certification
• State licensing as required
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identification and imaging requests, explain procedures and provide reassurance
• Interpret doctors' instructions accurately
• Position patients for scans
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed
• Evaluate image quality for technical adequacy
• Follow radiation safety procedures
• Maintain patient records
• Familiarize with McKesson PACS system
