Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract in Greenwich, Connecticut. This assignment features a 13-week duration, 36 hours per week, with 13-hour day shifts.

The CT Technologist will operate CT equipment, ensure image quality, and collaborate with radiologists. ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification and licensure are required, with 18 months of CT experience and ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• 18 months of CT Tech experience in a healthcare setting.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification.
• Licensure required in most states.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Positioning patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Setting controls of CT equipment, monitoring patient and equipment, making adjustments as necessary.
• Assisting radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast if applicable.
• Dispensing oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assisting radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluating CT scans for technical quality and labeling images in sequence of exposure.
• Scheduling patients for procedures and assisting with clerical functions.
• Charging procedures and supplies to the patient record.
• Loading and operating power injections for contrast media administration.
• Delivering quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintaining a safe, patient-focused environment with national patient safety initiatives.
