Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Delta, Colorado. The CT Tech will operate CT equipment, ensure image quality, and deliver studies to physicians for interpretation, while preparing and caring for patients undergoing scans.

Required are 1 year of CT experience, BLS, ARRT (CT) certification with registry, and any applicable state licensing. The role involves patient positioning, contrast administration, and use of McKesson PACS; travel duties and

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of CT experience.
• ARRT (CT) certification with registry.
• BLS certification and any required state license.
• Knowledge of anatomy and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests; explain procedures to patients.
• Interpret doctors' instructions and position patients for scans.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast to enhance visibility of organs.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and safety.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS system.
