Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Groton, MA. The role involves operating CT scanners, preparing patients, and collaborating with radiologists to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.

Requirements include one year of CT experience, a valid radiology license, and current BLS certification. ARRT certification is preferred; travel benefits are offered by Fusion Medical Staffing.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ARRT Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare and position patients, explain imaging process, and ensure safety.
• Set technical parameters to optimize anatomy and pathology visualization.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging details in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform other duties within the CT Tech scope.
