Qualifications

• Eighteen months CT Tech experience in a health care setting.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification is required.
• Licensure is required in most states.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans and ensure proper immobilization.
• Set CT equipment controls and monitor procedures for quality.
• Assist radiologist with imaging and contrast administration.
• Schedule procedures and handle related clerical tasks.
• Maintain patient safety and data accuracy in records.
