Qualifications

• Graduation from a JRCERT accredited Radiologic Technologist Program prior to start date.
• CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist from the state where work is being performed prior to start date.
• BLS Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
• RH F Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 days of hire if required at the affiliate.
• General knowledge of diagnostic CT principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
• Experience responding to traumas and hospital emergencies.
• Ability to perform routine CT examinations.
• Anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology knowledge.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize assignments and work within SOPs and scientific methods.
• Knowledge of PHI privacy and collaborative relationships with peers and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures.
• Produce quality images to support diagnosis and treatment.
• Exercise sound clinical judgment to execute safe procedures.
• Assess and monitor patients.
• Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Adhere to regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Deliver optimal patient care with privacy and safety.
• Perform procedures as assigned.
• Help orient other staff to the department.
• Float among multiple sites in the Greater Sacramento Area.
• Travel to Auburn, Elk Grove, Roseville, Folsom, Carmichael, and Yuba City as required.
