Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Huntley, Illinois. The role requires ARRT CT and ARRT R certification, with 2+ years of CT experience and IEMA accreditation. You will perform CT studies with/without contrast across acute care, ED, and ICU settings.

The position is 40 hours per week on days, with a 6-week duration and a potential to float between facilities. BLS is required and Epic EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT and ARRT R certification required.
• IEMA accreditation required.
• BLS certification through AHA required.
• Minimum 2 years CT experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
• Illinois license required if applicable at time of consideration.

Responsibilities

• Perform abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies with and without contrast.
• Utilize CT equipment and EMR systems for imaging and documentation.
• Provide patient care in adult acute care, outpatient, ED, and ICU settings.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Potentially float between facilities within the health system as needed.
