The role requires 18 months of CT experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and licensure as required by state law. The position involves 40 hours per week on a travel basis with 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification is required.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position CT technicians for CT scans and operate CT equipment.
• Set controls, monitor equipment, and ensure patient safety during imaging.
• Assist radiologists with procedures and contrast administration when applicable.
• Prepare and position patients for CT scans and immobilization as needed.
• Label and file CT images in the patient record and ensure workflow efficiency.
• Schedule patients for procedures and perform related clerical tasks.
• Provide high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe work environment aligned with patient safety initiatives.
