Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift travel assignment in New Mexico. ARRT/NMTCB CT certification and BLS are required, along with NM licensure if applicable. Previous CT experience is preferred and hospital-based imaging is expected.

You will work 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 3x12 schedule, rotate weekends, and may float to other campuses. Proficiency with EPIC EMR and PACS systems, along with a commitment to quality imaging, are essential.

Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB CT certification required; ARRT Radiography or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine may count as primary modality.
• CT certification required upon hire for NM assignments.
• BLS certification via AHA required.
• New Mexico state licensure (CT or FUS by MIRTP NMED) if applicable.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• 1 year CT experience preferred.
• Basic computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Imaging/CT scan in a hospital setting.
• Night shift 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 3x12 hour shifts.
• Weekend rotation and on-call requirements.
• Float to other campuses/locations as needed.
• Use EPIC EMR system and ensure proper PACS storage.
• Perform routine and advanced CT imaging procedures.
• Assist other imaging technologists as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment and participate in QA activities.
• Report malfunctions and follow PACS downtime procedures as a Superuser.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts or campuses as needed.
• Maintain imaging competencies and adhere to department standards.

• ARRT or NMTCB certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required; Radiography (R) by ARRT or Nuclear Medicine Technology by ARRT/NMTCB also accepted as primary modality certification
• CT certification required upon hire for assignments in New Mexico
• BLS certification via AHA required
• State licensure required (New Mexico: CT or FUS by MIRTP NMED) - license required if applicable
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or approved equivalent required
• 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred

• Report equipment malfunctions to management or biomedical personnel and follow up appropriatelyDemonstrate flexibility by working other shifts or at other campuses as needed
• Participate in ongoing education and maintain imaging competencies per department standards
• Adhere to professional standards in behavior, dress, attendance, and confidentiality
