Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT CT certification and at least 1 year of CT tech experience for a night shift assignment in Texas.

The position requires BLS, MRT license, an accredited Radiologic Technology program graduate, Epic EMR experience, and proficiency with venipuncture and contrast administration; travel, housing, and licensure support available.

Qualifications

• CT Tech experience of at least 1 year.
• ARRT CT certification and BLS required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Venipuncture and contrast media administration proficiency.
• State license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide CT services across adult and pediatric patients in multiple settings.
• Perform abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, and chest CT studies with/without contrast.
• Conduct advanced studies such as coronary CTA and vascular CTA on Philips/Toshiba systems.
• Document results in Epic.
• Work 3x12 night shifts from 19:00–7:00, Fri–Sun.
• No on-call requirement.
• Support broad CT imaging including trauma and vascular work.

Job description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT (R)(CT) certification and 1+ year of experience for a night shift assignment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Tech experience required
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• BLS certification required
• TMB MRT certification required
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required
• State license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficient in venipuncture and preparation/administration of contrast media
• Skilled in isolation precautions and PPE use
• Experience with image display, post-processing, and ROI measurement

Responsibilities

• Provide CT services across adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, and emergency department settings
• Perform abdomen and pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies with and without contrast
• Perform special procedures including coronary CTA, CT arthrography, and vascular CTAUtilizes Philips and Toshiba CT equipment
• Charting completed in Epic
• 3x12 hour night shifts from 19:00 to 7:00, Friday/Saturday/Sunday
• No call requirement
• Perform a wide range of CT imaging studies including trauma, vascular, and contrast-enhanced procedures across multiple body systems
• Facility conducts its own mandatory arrival drug screen, including marijuana testing, with automatic cancellation for positive results
• Candidates should avoid any products, including CBD, that could result in a positive drug screen upon arrival
• Travel experience is highly preferred though not required
• Local candidates are not accepted and candidates must reside outside a 110-mile radius of the facility
