Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist to perform CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy imaging procedures. The candidate must hold ARRT registration with CT designation and EPIC experience, and meet CA licensing requirements.

The role requires a CA license, BLS, and CT advanced certification where applicable, with flexibility across shifts and local candidate preference. Housing allowances and travel reimbursements are included to support assignments.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration as R.T.(R)(CT) is required.
• CA Radiologic Technologist license is required.
• Advanced CT certification is required where applicable; preferred in CA.
• BLS certification is required.
• Fluoroscopy license required in CA if fluoroscopy is used.
• Venipuncture certification required in CA if administering contrast.
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy procedures in the CT Scan unit.
• Work with a variable shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM.
• EPIC experience is required.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients from adolescents to geriatrics.
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images.
• Maintain records, files, and HIPAA-compliant billing information.
• Perform routine calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory.
• Local candidates only; prior adverse license actions disqualify applicants.

• Advanced Certification in CT modality required in OR and HI, preferred in CA
• BLS certification required
• Fluoroscopy license required in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification required in CA if administering contrast materials
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Work in the CT Scan unit performing computed tomography, general radiography, and fluoroscopy procedures
• Variable shift schedule with start times ranging from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM
• EPIC experience required
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatric populations
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
• Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to appropriate locations
• Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information while adhering to HIPAA guidelines
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
• Candidates with a prior adverse action on their license will not be considered
