Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for an acute care hospital in California. The role requires 1+ year CT experience, ARRT, and CA state license.

You’ll work on Siemens CT equipment with Epic EMR, perform contrast procedures, venipuncture, and patient care in a Level II trauma center with rotating 4x10 shifts. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience.
• ARRT (R), CRT, and BLS certifications; CA license if applicable.
• Compact license must be in hand at time of consideration.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Siemens CT equipment familiarity.
• Contrast media preparation and venipuncture skills.
• Radiation safety and isolation precautions knowledge.
• Two references covering 1 year of experience within last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting with Level II Trauma Center designation.
• Work on 488 staffed beds facility.
• Evening (4x10) and Night (4x10) shifts; start times 1500–1800 as needed.
• Rotating weekends; no on-call requirement.
• May float to nearby sister facility.
• Epic EMR used; Siemens CT equipment.
• Maintain 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, NYE/NYD).
• RTO requests must be submitted at consideration.
• Potential shift cancellation per two-week pay period.
• Free parking; scrubs provided for OR assignments.
• First-time travelers accepted; returning staff considered after 3-month break.
• Local candidates within 50 miles may have lower bill rate.
