American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Brookville, Pennsylvania. The role covers CT and X-ray exams with ARRT(R) certification and at least 1 year of CT experience.

Schedule features nights on a 4x10 hour cycle, 40 hours per week, with a 13-week length. PA fingerprinting and ChildLine may be required; travel accommodations and a tax-free stipend are provided.

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist to perform both CT and X-ray exams with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT(R) certification required.

Details

• CT/X-ray dual role covering both modalities
• 7 days on, 7 days off schedule rotating Wed-Tues
• Mix of 7p-7a and 11p-7a shifts, 40 hours/week
• CT call required every 5th week, with most shifts covered except SAT/SUN 7a-7p
• Equipment includes GE Optima 660 CT, Medrad injector, Merge PACS, Cerner RIS, and Konica CR
• Scope excludes OR cases and special procedures

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required
• ARRT(R) certification required
• License required if applicable
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Proficiency in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies with and without contrast
• Experience with vascular chest studies such as CTA and pulmonary embolism protocols
• Skilled in contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
• General X-ray skills required
• Must provide one supervisory reference from within the past year

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic CT and X-ray imaging across adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, and emergency department settings
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Candidates must be prepared to complete PA fingerprinting and ChildLine registration within 48 hours of signing a contract due to strict state credentialing requirements
• Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract
• Previous permanent or per diem employment at this health system must be disclosed, and staff must have been separated for at least 18 months before returning as a traveler
