American Traveler is hiring a Lead CT Technologist with 10+ years of experience and ARRT-CT certification for a role requiring prior travel assignment experience.

Details

• Lead CT Tech position within the CT Scan department
• Adult acute care setting including ED, ICU, and trauma patient populations
• Performs abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, chest, and special procedure CT studies including coronary CTA, biopsies, and vascular CTA
• Utilizes GE and Siemens CT equipment with PACS imaging system
• Cerner charting system experience required
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-5:00 PM, with every other Saturday 7:00 AM-7:30 PM
• Must be willing to float within the hospital within scope of practice

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of CT Technologist experience, with 8+ years of lead experience preferred
• ARRT-CT and ARRT-R certifications required
• Current BLS certification required
• Maryland or Compact state license required and must be active and in hand at time of consideration
• License required if applicable
• Community hospital and LTAC experience required
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Two supervisor references required for consideration
• Skilled in 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurement
• Experience with contrast media preparation/administration, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE

Additional Information

• Responsible for scheduling, protocol management, and ACR compliance
• Facility is tobacco-free; candidates must be nicotine-free, as a positive nicotine screen will result in cancellation
• Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate with no mile radius rule
