Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and GE equipment proficiency for a community hospital setting.

Details

• Community hospital setting serving adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, ICU, and Emergency Department patients
• Uses GE CT equipment and PACS system
• Meditech charting system required
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Thursday through Sunday, 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) certification required (license required if applicable) and BLS
• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• GE equipment experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Meditech charting system experience required
• Skilled in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies with and without contrast
• Experience with vascular chest studies (CTA, pulmonary embolism, aorta)
• Proficient in isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, and radiation safety
• One supervisory reference from within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered
• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Candidates must complete PA fingerprinting and ChildLine registration within 48 hours of signing a contract
• Candidates must complete lab work within 72 hours of signing a contract
• Any prior permanent or per diem employment at this healthcare system must be disclosed, and staff must be separated for at least 18 months before returning as a traveler
