American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Springfield, IL. The role involves 4x10 hour day shifts in an acute care hospital with Level I trauma capabilities and a focus on high-quality CT imaging and patient safety.

The candidate must have 2+ years of CT experience, ARRT-CT and BLS certification, and may require state licensure. Experience with Abdomen/Chest/Head/Spine CTs and 3D rendering is preferred.

Competenze

• Minimum 2 years CT Tech experience required.
• ARRT, ARRT-CT, and BLS certification required.
• State license required if applicable.
• Level I Trauma experience preferred.
• Teaching hospital experience preferred.
• Experience with Abdomen and Pelvis CT (with/without contrast).
• Experience with Chest CT including vascular chest imaging (PE, CTA, aorta).
• Experience with Head and Neck CT including carotid, sinuses, soft tissue neck, and trauma head.
• Experience with Spine and Musculoskeletal CT including cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and trauma.
• Experience with Coronary CTA.
• Proficiency in 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement.
• Skilled in contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture.
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols.

Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level I trauma acute care hospital requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT-CT certification.

• Acute care hospital setting including Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ICU, and Emergency Department
• Level I trauma center with 562 staffed beds
• 4x10 hour evening shifts from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• Every 3rd weekend required with 1 night of call per week
• On-call and holiday coverage required as neededNo floating outside of scope
• Uses Cerner charting system
• Siemens CT equipment
