Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level I Trauma Center with required Siemens equipment experience and ARRT(R) certification.

Details

• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Rotating schedule including Thursday, Friday and every other weekend
• Rotating floating to sister facilities required
• Level I Trauma Center, short term acute care facility with over 1,500 staffed beds
• Epic charting system used
• Teal scrub color required
• Performs CT scans of abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine and musculoskeletal with and without contrast
• Serves adult acute care and outpatient populations

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT(R) certification required
• BLS certification preferred
• CT license required if applicable
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Teaching hospital, Trauma Level I, and Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media
• Skilled in starting peripheral IVs
• Experience with musculoskeletal trauma imaging preferred
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• One professional reference required for consideration

• First-time travelers accepted
• Candidates must have been separated from facility employment for at least 2 years to be considered as a returning traveler
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be auto-approved
• Local candidates not accepted within 75 miles of facility, unless applying under local rate
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required with religious or medical exemption only
