American Traveler is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a day shift assignment in Arlington Heights, Illinois. This contract-based role requires ARRT CT certification, 1+ year experience on GE and Siemens CT scanners, and Epic EMR proficiency.

You will join a radiology team on a 40-hour week, with 8-hour daytime shifts, weekend and holiday coverage expected, and opportunities to extend hours with additional shifts. Travel-friendly benefits and stipends may apply.

Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a day shift contract requiring ARRT CT certification and 1+ years of experience on GE and Siemens scanners.

Details

• Radiology department performing CT scans in a busy environment, primarily serving the Emergency Room
• Day shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 8-hour shifts
• Schedule alternates between 40 hours one week and 36 hours the next, with opportunity to pick up extra shifts to work 40 hours both weeks
• Every other weekend required
• Floating as needed
• Holiday coverage as needed

Requirements

• ARRT certification in CT required
• Active state license required, if applicable
• 1+ years of experience on GE and Siemens CT scanners
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active certifications required; pending licenses/certifications not accepted
• BLS certification required (American Heart or American Red Cross accepted)
• 2 current professional references from a Supervisor/Manager/Charge in the relevant area within the last year
• Travel reference preferred

Additional Information

• Perform CT scans primarily supporting Emergency Room cases
• 16 hours of non-billable orientation required
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Returning permanent/per diem staff must be separated for 12 months before being considered as a traveler
• RTO for 13-week contracts limited to a maximum of 7 days
• Credentialing documents due by Thursday before start date
• Candidates will participate in a brief interview (10-15 minutes) conducted by the hospital
