Position Summary

The Acute Care Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist provides essential healthcare services by assisting in the diagnosis or treatment of patients. The technologist performs CT procedures and related techniques to produce images for interpretation by licensed practitioners. This role involves operating a CT scanner to obtain high-quality images that aid in diagnosing and treating various patient pathologies. The technologist will utilize their expertise in imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy to enhance image quality while minimizing exposure. Additionally, routine quality inspections and maintenance of the scanner will be conducted as per organizational policies and manufacturer recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program or equivalent

• Two years of radiology experience as a registered technologist

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of previous CT experience in a trauma center (level I or II)
