Scheduling Details

The CT technologist position requires the following scheduling commitments:

• Shift: 3x12 hours, Friday to Sunday (7 PM - 7 AM). Actual shift times may vary by +/- 2 hours based on departmental needs, with a notification of changes provided one week in advance.
• On-call requirement: No on-call shifts are expected.
• Holiday scheduling: Holidays are mandatory and will be scheduled as needed, which may include shifts falling outside the contracted days.

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification
• ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications
• Virginia state license required (pending licenses are accepted; Virginia will grant emergency authorization for active travelers while processing permanent licenses).

Experience Requirements

• Siemens imaging equipment experience is required.
• Experience with the Epic electronic health record system is required.

Clinical Skills

• Preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Understanding of radiation safety protocols

Unit and Floating Requirements

The traveler may be required to float between various locations as necessary.

This role is in an acute care teaching hospital setting, which features over 700 licensed beds, is recognized as a Level I Trauma Center, and holds Magnet designation. The facility has received recognition as a certified stroke center.
