Responsibilities

• Operate CT and radiographic equipment and adjust factors to position patients.
• Review orders and collect clinical data to produce high-quality radiographs while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Assist physicians during procedures, prepare the room, manage supplies and contrast reactions.
• Schedule and complete exams and ensure correct charge codes.
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility.

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of trauma and stroke experience for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

• 13-week travel assignment with 12-hour shifts


• Schedule of Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM


• Option to pick up an additional 4-hour shift on another mutually agreed day


• Possible on-call coverage if a 2nd or 3rd shift tech is unavailable due to PTO or illness


• 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with trauma and stroke cases required


• Associate's Degree or equivalent required


• Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program required


• BLS certification required (AHA only)


• ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification required


• Current State/District license required if applicable


• Must have an active license, no pending licenses accepted

Additional Information

• Operate CT and radiographic equipment and processors, analyzing body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors and position patients


• Review physician orders and obtain pertinent clinical data to produce high-quality radiographs while minimizing unnecessary radiation exposure


• Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation, supplies, and management of contrast reactions and codes


• Schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes


• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Pay Package

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
