Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. The position offers 40 hours per week on days, with an 8-hour shift and a travel employment arrangement.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT certification (CT preferred), an active radiologic license if applicable, BLS (ACLS preferred), and 1–2 years of radiologic technologist experience with CT imaging proficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT CT preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

Qualifications

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred

CT Tech Contract Details

• $2,006 - $2,199 per week*
• 26-week contract with possibility to extend
• AM shifts available
• 40 hrs/wk

Duties

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
