Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. The role is a 13-week contract with 40 hours per week, night shifts, and potential extension.

Requirements include an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT (R) certification with CT preferred, active state license, BLS (ACLS preferred), and 1–2 years radiologic technologist experience, with CT imaging experience highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; prior CT imaging preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and radiation protection practices.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details

• $2,108 - $2,321 per week*
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• NOC shifts available
• 40 hrs/wk

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
