Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Columbia, SC. The role requires a Radiologic Technology degree, ARRT certification, BLS, and CT experience. 36 hours per week with 12-hour nights, T&E provided. Start date ASAP with potential extension; NOC shifts available. Compensation is weekly based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography; CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license if applicable.
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years radiologic technologist experience; CT imaging preferred.

Responsabilités

• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and address questions.
• Maintain radiation safety and check image quality for diagnostic use.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details

• $2,034 - $2,205 per week*
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• NOC shifts available
• 36 hrs/wk

Duties will include, but are not limited to

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
