TotalMed Allied is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Reno, Nevada. The CT Tech will perform imaging procedures, ensure image quality, and assist physicians with interpretation, while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

The role requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT (CT) certification with BLS, and state licensure as applicable. Work entails 12-hour days, 36 hours per week over a 13-week period.

Competenze

• 1 year of CT experience required.
• BLS and ARRT (CT) certification with registration.
• State-specific licensure may be required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and comfort with radiation safety.
• Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Mansioni

• Identify patients and explain CT procedures to provide reassurance.
• Follow doctors' instructions and accurately interpret orders.
• Position patients to scan targeted body areas.
• Capture diagnostic CT images using CT equipment.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as indicated.
• Evaluate images quality and ensure proper documentation; operate PACS.
