Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a CT Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Jersey City, NJ. The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, and work with radiologists to obtain high-quality images while following safety protocols.

Requirements include one year of CT experience, a valid radiology license, and current BLS certification. ARRT certification preferred; licensure and additional licenses may be required.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis.
• Prepare and position patients, explain imaging process, ensure safety and image quality.
• Set technical parameters to optimize anatomy visualization and pathology detection.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine CT equipment maintenance and troubleshoot as needed.
• Document patient information and imaging details in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform other CT Tech duties as assigned.
