Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Springfield, Illinois. The role requires 18 months of CT experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and licensure in most states.

You will work 40 hours per week, with an evenings shift, in a travel capacity. The duties include CT technologist responsibilities, assisting radiologists, contrast administration where applicable, and maintaining image quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
• Most states require licensure
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position CT technologist and operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images.
• Position patients for CT scans with immobilization and protective equipment.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, IVs, and contrast administration when applicable.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images accordingly.
• Schedule patients and assist with related clerical tasks and documentation.
