Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Aurora, IL. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification, BLS, and possible state licensing. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities include performing CT scans, ensuring image quality, preparing patients, and using the McKesson PACS system alongside standard safety protocols. Benefits include travel-specific compensation and guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year CT experience.
• ARRT (CT) certification and BLS required.
• State-specific licensing as needed.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT procedures and explain imaging plans.
• Position patients and operate CT equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed and monitor patient response.
• Review imaging requests and ensure imaging quality meets physician needs.
