Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech
• must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
• Most states require licensure
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and safety measures.
• Set up controls, monitor equipment, and adjust as needed during scans.
• Assist radiologist with imaging, IV placements, and contrast injections if needed.
• Dispatch contrast and label CT images accurately for interpretation.
• Schedule procedures and perform related clerical tasks.
