Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Farrell, PA. The role requires ARRT CT certification, BLS, and state licensing where required, with at least 1 year of CT experience.

You will use CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images and prepare patients for interpretation. Responsibilities include patient positioning, contrast administration, image quality evaluation, and records maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of CT experience.
• ARRT (CT) certification and BLS required.
• State licensing where required for the assignment.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Interpret doctors' instructions and perform CT imaging.
• Acquire diagnostic CT images of internal organs and tissues.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Review image quality and ensure accuracy for physician interpretation.
• Maintain patient records and follow radiation safety procedures.
• Operate McKesson PACS to manage images.
