TotalMed Allied in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The CT Tech will perform imaging studies, position patients, and ensure high-quality CT images for interpretation by physicians.

A minimum of 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification with registration, and BLS are required. The role requires standing for long periods and working with radiation safety protocols.

Qualificações

• 1 year of imaging experience required.
• BLS, ARRT (CT) certification with CT registration, and state licensing where required.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting.

Responsabilidades

• Verify patient identity and review imaging requests; explain procedures and provide reassurance.
• Interpret doctors' instructions and position patients for CT scanning.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images of organs and tissues.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed to enhance visualization.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure accurate documentation in patient records.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain equipment and patient safety.
• Use McKesson PACS to manage and share imaging studies.
