Job summary

Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Delta, Colorado. This role requires ARRT CT certification, BLS, and ACLS, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts for 13 weeks.

The Registered CT Technologist will perform radiographic procedures including CT imaging, transport patients, administer contrast, and adhere to safety and hygiene standards. Weekend coverage and travel assignments are common.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal radiology technology training program (AMA-approved).
• Current ARRT CT certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients according to their physical abilities related to the exams requested.
• Utilize positioning aids as needed to ensure quality patient examinations.
• Operate all CT-associated equipment effectively.
• Protect patients in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
• Administer contrast media as ordered by the Radiologist.
• Assist in the performance of special procedures.
• Practice sterile technique and follow Universal Precautions.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
• Clean rooms after each examination to uphold hygiene standards.
• Restock linen and supplies as necessary to support operational efficiency.
