Job summary

The CT Technologist will operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images. You will prepare patients, position for accuracy, adjust parameters, and work with radiologists to ensure high-quality results in a travel assignment based in Glenwood Springs, CO. This role requires one year CT experience, a valid radiology license, and current BLS.

Qualifications

One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
Set technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
Document patient information and imaging details in the hospital system.
Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services.
Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
