Job summary

Cross Country Allied seeks a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Delta, Colorado. The role involves performing radiographic procedures, operating CT scanners, and ensuring patient safety, mainly in the OR under radiologist supervision.

Requirements include AMA-approved radiology training, ARRT CT certification, and BLS. Start date is 10/29/2026 with 12-hour day shifts and 36 hours per week. Travel benefits and housing support are offered.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of formal radiology technology training in an AMA approved school.
• Registered by the ARRT and certified as a CT Technologist.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and position them accurately for exams using positioning aids.
• Operate all CT equipment and assist with special procedures.
• Protect patient safety according to departmental policies and procedures.
• Administer contrast media as ordered by the radiologist, orally or IV.
• Enter scan parameters into the scanner computer and initiate imaging procedures.
• Communicate with patients to ensure comfort and monitor safety during examinations.
• Maintain records and quality control for the CT area.
• Clean and restock rooms and supplies after each examination.
• Use sterile technique and universal precautions during all procedures.
