Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract in Tamarac, Florida. The position is a 13-week travel assignment, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts, starting ASAP.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT CT certification (or Radiography certificate with CT experience), a radiologic technology degree, and an active state license, plus BLS (ACLS preferred). Salary is paid weekly within the posted range.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
