Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a contract opportunity in Tallahassee, Florida. The role runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, including night shifts, and offers a travel assignment in a hospital setting.

Qualified candidates will hold an ARRT credential, a radiography license, and a degree in Radiologic Technology. BLS is required, ACLS preferred, with CT experience highly desirable. Compensation is paid weekly and includes full benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality

Education

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program

ARRT certification in Radiography (R)

ARRT CT certification (preferred)

Active state radiologic technologist license

BLS certification (ACLS preferred)

1–2 years Radiologic Technologist experience

Knowledge of CT imaging protocols
