Job summary

vTech Solution is seeking a Radiology/Cardiology CT Technician to perform CT imaging in an acute care hospital setting near Portland, OR. You will work with radiologists and cardiologists, ensuring high-quality scans and patient safety while coordinating with Epic EHR workflows.

Applicants should have recent hospital exposure, CT imaging proficiency, and the ability to maintain a 1:1 patient ratio. Weekend shifts (Fri-Sun) are required, with no on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Recent patient care experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
• Demonstrated expertise in CT imaging procedures and equipment operation.
• Ability to maintain a 1:1 patient ratio during imaging procedures.
• Valid certification/licensure as a CT Technician or Radiologic Technologist as required by state regulations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT imaging equipment to perform diagnostic scans in radiology and cardiology departments.
• Prepare patients for CT procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the process.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures using Epic electronic health records system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality imaging and patient care.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols in an acute care hospital environment.
• Manage imaging equipment maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues as necessary.
• Float between units as assigned to meet departmental needs and maintain workflow efficiency.
