Job summary

vTech Solution is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging in radiology and cardiology settings. You will operate CT scanners, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate with radiologists and cardiologists to review results.

The role requires certification and at least 1 year of CT imaging experience, with on-call duties and weekend coverage. Expect to float between units and maintain strict safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Certification as a CT Technologist or equivalent credential.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT Technologist or relevant imaging experience.
• Knowledge of radiologic technology and CT imaging procedures.
• Ability to operate CT imaging equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (Epic) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in radiology and cardiology departments.
• Prepare patients for CT procedures, including explaining the process and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor patient condition during imaging and respond to any adverse reactions or emergencies.
• Maintain and calibrate CT equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
• Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare team members to review and interpret imaging results.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in the electronic medical record system.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control protocols.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide coverage during weekends as required.
