Job summary

vTech Solution is seeking a Radiology CT Technician to perform computed tomography imaging in a short-term acute care environment. You will float between units as needed and cover weekend shifts while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Operate CT equipment, collaborate with radiologists and cardiologists, and document procedures in the EMR. Candidates must have CT licensure and be able to work in a fast-paced trauma setting.

Qualifications

• Certification or licensure as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist with CT specialization.
• Experience or training in operating CT imaging equipment.
• Knowledge of patient positioning and safety protocols for CT procedures.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, preferably Epic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care and trauma environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for CT scans.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging requirements.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in the electronic medical system.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols within a Level IV Trauma Center setting.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and report any malfunctions promptly.
• Work flexible shifts including weekends as required.
